For over 40 years, the Solid Waste Association of North America has been the leading professional association in the solid waste field.  Their association serves over 7.200 members throughout North America, and thousands more with conferences, certifications, publications, and technical training courses.  Their mission is to Educate, Innovate, and Communicate.

NSSGA is the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association. On Feb. 12, 2001, the merged National Stone Association and National Aggregates Association became the NSSGA. The association represents the crushed stone, sand and gravel-or aggregates-industries. Our member companies produce more than 92 percent of the crushed stone and 75 percent of the sand and gravel consumed annually in the United States.

WASTEC is the trade association representing those companies which design, build, distribute, service and consult with respect to the equipment and technology systems that are used to collect, contain, transport, store, process, recycle, treat and dispose of the world's solid and hazardous wastes and recyclable materials.

WASTEC is a full service trade association, with close ties to its members.  It is directed by a Board of Governors, elected from the membership, which establishes policy and oversees its professional staff.

NSWMA is a trade association representing for-profit companies in North America that provide solid, hazardous and medical waste collection, recycling and disposal services, and companies that provide professional and consulting services to the waste services industry.

Founded in 1962, NSWMA’s members operate in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.  Our members consist of large publicly-traded companies and both small and large privately-owned companies, all of which share NSWMA’s mission statement which is to:

Promote the management of waste in a manner that is environmentally responsible, efficient, profitable and ethical, while benefiting the public and protecting employees.
