VB Error 429/430...How to fix?

Most likely, this error is generated because a program component is not properly registered on this machine.  To resolve this issue, go to the PD30/EXE directory and run the DBUpdate.EXE program.  Press the "Reg Active X Servers" button.

If this does not resolve the issue, the next likely reason you would receive this error is because the latest MDAC components are not installed on the machine.  If you do not have an MDAC installation package from Paradigm Software, you can download one from our FTP site...
ftp://www.paradigmsoftware.com/MDAC

If you continue to receive the error, please contact Paradigm Software for further technical support.

VB Error 3265...How to Fix?

"VB Error 3265 - Item not found in this collection" is usually a result of the database not being up to date.  To resolve this issue, go to the PD30/EXE directory and run the DBUpdate.EXE program.  *Important* - Make sure everyone is out of both WeighStation and CompuWeigh prior to updating the databases.  Once everyone is out, press the "Update Access Databases" button if you are using our Access version.  If you are using the SQL Server version, go to the SQL Server tab, and press the "Update SQL Database" button.  Once the update process is complete, you can get everyone back into WeighStation and CompuWeigh.  If this process does not resolve the error, please contact Paradigm Software for additional support.

VB Error 3343...How to fix?

"VB Error 3343 - Unrecognized Database Format" is usually the result of a corrupted access database.  To fix this problem, try to get everyone out of the program you are receiving it in and have one person get back in.  With everyone out, the program will attempt to repair the file itself.  If the auto-repair feature doesn't work, go to the PD30/EXE directory and run the Repair32.EXE program.

Press the dropdown arrow and select the file that needs to be repaired.  Once repaired, attempt to get back into WeighStation or CompuWeigh.  If this process does not resolve the error, please contact Paradigm Software for additional support.
